Camping at Little Dumont Dunes in the Mojave Desert. We had days in the 80's and nights around 50 degrees.  Lots of wind and sand throughout the day.  Even a small dust devel that uprooted 2 of our tents.  The boys flew their rockets into the wind and chased them across the sand dunes.  We went for a day hike to the abandoned mines in the foothills and saw the oldest building in the Mojave Desert.  The boys prepared and cooked a delicious dinner for us.  The day was rounded off with a large campfire and a few leftover fireworks from the 4th of July.
