Our trip started at Chantry Flats.  Instead of hiking straight in we took a little detour.
We hiked up the Upper Winter Creek Trail to Hoegees Trail Camp and then down
the Lower trail towards Roberts Camp.  At Roberts Camp the trail intersects with
the Gabrielino trail and heads towards our cabin.  Our detour turned the 1.5 mile
 hike into the cabin into a 6.5 mile hike.
