Dumont Dunes

From April 17 to April 19, we were at our Dumont Dunes campout.  We left Mr. Akiyama’s house Friday night.  It was about a 3 hour drive, but it was worth it.  The campout was so fun!  When we first got there, we set up camp.  We set up the tents and the kitchen.  After we set up camp, we watched a few fireworks, then went to bed.  The next morning, we woke up, then started breakfast.  Cereal, which was Cocoa Puffs and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.  MMMMMM.  Later we launched off rockets.  At some point, we moved on from rockets to guns.  The guns were a blast… literally!  We had lunch. which was BBQ meatballs.  They were delicious!  We continued enjoying ourselves until it was time for dinner.  Dinner was a potluck.  We had teri beef, rice, cornbread, veggies and stuffed fish.  Later that night, we watched the rest of the fireworks before going to bed.  The next morning, we woke up and started packing up.  We ate breakfast (bagels and cream cheese), then we went home.
